Strange things seem important in the middle of the night.

These are the things that come into my mind in the middle of the night, somewhere between dreams and waking: which Glee characters would take the place of the Buffy characters if they were to perform the Buffy musical, Once More With Feeling. (Somewhat like the Rocky Horror episode, I suppose, only hopefully less disastrous.) I have finally determined the following:

Puck for Spike. This one was clear even in my sleepy, sleepy mind.
Mr. Schuester for Giles.
Santana for Tara and Brittany for Willow. Cause those two are all with the lesbian undertones and so forth. (Undertones? Overtones? Can someone explain the difference to me, please?)
Quinn for Buffy.
Finn and Rachel for Xander and Anya.
Tina for Dawn, I guess. Although if that Sunshine girl had ended up sticking around, she'd be better.

This seemed very important for my subconscious to figure out somewhere between 4 and 11 a.m. Numerous times. Perhaps tonight I will sleep easier, knowing that THIS IS ALL FIGURED OUT THANK GOD I DON'T KNOW WHAT I WOULD HAVE DONE.

My first entry on this blog. Hey-oh!

Buddhism is delicious.

Bird: She is the very essence of loving devotion.

Shannon: Who is?

Bird: Tara.

Shannon: Who's Tara?

Bird: She's like the female representation of enlightenment.

Shannon: She's the female inside of a mint? What?

Delicious?

Shannon is peeling hard boiled eggs at breakfast. This is a process.

S: This egg just does not want to cooperate at all.
B: Did you just say something about strawberry mozzarella?
S: Yes. Yes I did. This egg does not want to be strawberry mozzarella. And I keep telling it...

Eclectic Tsunami is going out dancing.

ET: I'm going to put this away and get some cash.
Bird: You're going to get some cats?
ET: Cash. I don't need cats to go dancing.
Bird: You don't need cat's for lap dances?
ET: Yeah....
Tiger: You don't need pants for lap dances?

Hello Saturday night.

Because being tired is a good excuse

I am sitting in my bed. Shannon comes home for the first time today at 10PM and we are exchanging niceties about our days.

Bird: I finished my research paper.
Shannon: What's it about?
B: Christian Science, New Thought, and Women's Leadership
S: I want to fall over. I should go to bed.
B: Yes, bed first. You can recruit some in the morning.

-----> Moment of confusion<-----------

S: Fall over?
B: Oooh, fall over. I thought you said follower.
S: No, fall over. Like I'm really tired and I'd like to just fall over and go to sleep but I should probably actually go to bed.
B: Oh, yeah. I thought you said follower because I said something about women's leadership and that made sense...

As things go, this was a very logical mishearing exchange. They only get better.
